ABOUT THE AU SUMMIT
The Assembly of the African Union’s (AU’s) brings together Heads of State and Government from all 55 Member States to determine the AU’s policies, establish its priorities and adopts its annual programme.
This year, the Assembly will launch the AU Theme for 2022: “Strengthening Resilience in Nutrition and Food Security on the African Continent: Strengthening Agro-Food Systems, Health and Social Protection Systems for the Acceleration of Human, Social and Economic Capital Development”.
The #AIDSWatchAfrica Secretariat takes the opportunity to commemorate the AU Theme for 2022 by advancing a strong, African-led response to end AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria by 2030. Share the key messages and graphics in this toolkit to join us in voicing matters on nutrition and food security that must be addressed for Africa to end AIDS, eliminate malaria by 2030.
This activity is supported by the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.
